We've come to the decision that we need to find a home for our dog out in the country. We hate to get rid of him, but we've had to have him tied up since we moved in November. When he sees a rabbit across the street (there is a big open lot that sits next to a dry creekbed) off he goes on the hunt.
He would be a GREAT dog for someone who lives in the country. So, calling all our COUNTRY friends...
He really is a good dog but needs a place to run. The kids keep saying, "I don't want to give Sunny away." I feel the same way, but know this is best for Sunny to be able to chase the rabbits he wants to.

Great Blog! We have some friends that may be interested. They farm and are in the 50's and their big lab got run over last fall by an irrigation pipe trailer. Sally was a great dog. This came 15 months after their daughter Sarah, who was our babysitter for years, died unexpectedly after hip surgery at Mayo. She had just turned 21 and was very healthy. So, losing thier dog added to their sorrow. I copied and forwarded Sunny's picture from your blog to them. Later- Deb
