washable?

washable markers are great. they wash out of clothes, off walls, off tables. but not so much off people.

i ran a few errands while hunter babysat the other kids. here's what i returned home to.

hunter was the ONLY one who didn't have marker all over his body. but parker, kamrie & chloe had tried to wash theirs off before i got a photo.

no amount of scrubbing gets this much marker off flesh. he looks terrible today, like he has serious bags around his eyes & possible bruising ALL over his face. parker's marker color was red, so he looks sunburned today. the girls' faces aren't as bad, brad really scrubbed them last night. but then all night they said, "my cheeks hurt."

hmmm. i wonder why. maybe, just maybe we learned our lesson.

the kids-maybe won't color all over themselves again
mommy-store markers under lock & key if she leaves hunter in charge

maybe i'll color all over hunter tonight in his sleep just so he won't think it was quite so cute...

cooper mustache (valentine treat from the library girls)
cooper & mommy mustache-guess it's time for a wax!

I can't stop laughing. Oh dear. Sounds like you need those markers that only write on the special paper. Wow. Did Hunter get paid? Like the moustache. sb

Oh my gosh. I didn't even recognize Cooper. That's hilarious! I thought about drawing hearts on the preschoolers' faces for our Valentine's party but didn't since I wasn't sure how it would come off. GOOD THING! Parents may not have been too happy!
