soccer saturday!

today was a fun day of soccer, despite the rain/drizzle.

parker & kamrie had their last game in ogallala. they both played well. kamrie blocked a shot with her face but was ok after shedding a few crocodile tears. parker was as agressive as usual. he loves to get right in there & go for the ball even if it means sacrificing his body to make the play.

parker also learned a good lesson playing goalie. pay attention.

yep, he got scored on because he was screwing around.

side note: parker did great on thursday playing goalie & also scored 2 goals. both which i missed because i was trying to watch 2 games at once-chloe's & p&k's.

hunter did really well tonight. it drizzled through most of their game & the ball was sopping wet, dripping when they threw it inbounds. he was really agressive & scored his first goal!

yeah!

chloe will have one more game next week to finish out our soccer season. hunter will possibly have another, we'll see.

it's been so much fun. several of us parents are thinking we'd like an adult league. but we don't want a full size field! we'd like to play on the u-10 field. think that'd work?
